Clubs

Heard-Mixon offers several clubs for our students.  Our clubs allow students to have the opportunity to learn teamwork, leadership skills, goal setting, and the importance of following through on a task.

Robotics Club

Image with text robot

Our HMES Robotics Team has been working hard to build and program two robots for our upcoming competition at NCCA. The team has worked every week for the past month to learn the in's and out's of building robots, designing a program that will allow the robots to move on their own, and extensively researching how robots play an integral role in our community. Our team is very excited to participate in 3 competitions this year and look forward to learning much more about robotics.
